The
Ministry
The ministry
emphasis for over 30 years now, has been to
reach the lost with the Gospel and to see
Christians experience revival in their
relationship with Christ. The Erwins
conduct an average of 45 revival meetings a
year all across the nation. People are
reached with the Gospel through Gospel
singing, provided by the whole family, and
expository (verse by verse) sermons preached
by Brother Dennis. They serve in
weeklong Revival Meetings, Bible
Conferences, and Campmeetings. Their
ministry also includes Gospel Concerts,
outdoor evangelism, and ministry in various
jails and prisons.

W. A. Criswell, Pastor
First Baptist Church
Dallas, TX 75201
September 14, 1989
My brethern in the Christian
faith:
It is a privilege for me
(and a blessed one) to write
a letter of recommendation
and commendation for my
fellow-preacher in the
evangelistic ministry,
Dennis K. Erwin.
Everything good that can be
said about a
preacher-soul-winner can be
said about him. His
presence in the pulpit is a
benediction to all the
people in attendance.
His message from God's Holy
Word is inspired by the Holy
Spirit. His appeal is
accompanied by a breath from
heaven that ensues in the
response of lost souls to
the saving grace of our Lord
Jesus.
It is my prayer that God
will bless our pastors, our
people, and our churches
through the effective and
Christ-honoring ministry of
Dennis K. Erwin.
Faithfully and prayerfully
yours,
W. A. Criswell |

Dennis Erwin reminds me
of one of the greatest
evangelists of the modern
era, the gypsy boy from
England known as "Gypsy
Smith." Like the gypsy
evangelist, Dennis Erwin
sings and preaches his way
into your heart.
Standing behind his message
is a man whose heart and
life speak even more
profoundly than the message
he brings. And when it
is done, your church will be
stronger, more unified, and
more committed than when it
began. Without
reservation I commend to you
one of the finest
evangelists of our age.
